Friday Adventures

Hello friends!  So today we are hitting the highway, and heading to our new city.

This is what we travel in, which is securing fastened with seatbelts to the back seat of the car:




It's called a Car-Go and it's made by Sturdi Products.  Dragonheart and Merlin travelled across most of Canada, twice, in it!  (From Ottawa, Ontario to Edmonton, Alberta, staying each night in a new hotel, and then doing the same thing from Edmonton, Alberta, to Guelph, Ontario).  Devi has never travelled in it, so we'll see what happens!  It's also a much shorter trip today (about 5 hours on the highway).

Then we will be staying in a new hotel for about two weeks.  Our new home won't be ready until October 13th, which is our closing date, so we won't move in until October 14th.  Our dad will be going to work most week days while we are in the hotel in our new city, but he'll be with us in the evening and on weekends, and our mom will be with us most of the day (when she's not out running, or sorting things out for us, and the like).

So forgive us if our posting continues to be spotty.  We will visit our friends when we can!

    That looks a lot like the double cages Äiti has seen at shows. They look comfy and have enough room to spread out. And have litter trays and bowl in them - you'll need snacks on a road trip! Safe journey to you all!

    Sturdi makes a good cage....we have a single one that Mom used to use at the cat shows. We use it if we have to evacuate.

    Nice travelling double condo in two floors! Luckily we have those also here in the country of King P for show and cat nursery use.. :)

    Oh, and don't get me wrong. The Sturdi shelter is in nursery use only for the time of the labour and infants first days/ weeks. The door is always open for mom cat and for the babies crawling their first adventures.. Have a safe trip and nice, warm hotel room!

    The travelling carriers look great and it looks as though there will be plenty of room for the cats to move around in. However we're sure you may not need to use it much when you are all in your new home.
