Cats on Tuesday: Holiday Gizzy Quilt

Cats on Tuesday Yesterday, my Holiday Gizzy Quilt arrived! :)

Here's what the back of the quilt looks like, which Holiday Gizzy it is (number 6) and a 'nip ravioli!

Holiday Gizzy Quilt
Here I am sniffing the quilt and checking it out.

Holiday Gizzy Quilt
Here I am playing with the 'nip ravioli! The catnip in this is good stuff! I haven't been reacting at all to catnip recently, but the 'nip ravioli really had me going!

Holiday Gizzy Quilt
More fun with the 'Nip Ravioli!

Holiday Gizzy Quilt and Nip Ravioli
And a final shot of me on my Holiday Gizzy, modelling. Isn't my quilt beautiful? I love it!

Holiday Gizzy Quilt and Nip Ravioli(Click any photo to view a larger version)

Now my quilt is being put away until the hoildays. The 'nip ravioli is staying out for me to play with though, until my order of Hallowe'en 'Nip Raviolis arrives.

The Holiday Gizzy Quilts were limited editions, so they are all gone, but, if you want to get your own Gizzy Quilt, check out Bizzy for Gizzy! You can see the gorgeous quilts there and learn how to get your own. The quilts are beautiful! You won't be disappointed!

If you would like a 'Nip Ravioli, visit The House of the Mostly Black Cats. These 'Nip Ravioli are great toys! As I said, I haven't reacted much to catnip recently, but the 'Nip Ravioli really had me going! There is some very potent catnip in there!

Update on me: I am happy to see that the shot the vet gave me and the pills I've been taking seem to be working! I am behaving normally - I had a great play session last night, ate some stinky goodness last night and again this morning, and had another great play session this morning! My trips to the litterbox yesterday and this morning were normal, except for being a little soft and very stinky.

The results weren't back from the lab yet, so we are still waiting on them, but I seem to be doing much, much better! My mom is thinking my problem might be with my anal sacs, since I've been scooting my bum across the bed and bath mat, and since she has smelled some pretty nasty scents coming from me a couple of times when I'm curled in her lap, that don't smell quite the same as when I pass wind. I will be going back to the vet in a couple of days when all my pills are done (or sooner, if the lab work turns up anything), so we'll see what the vet thinks then if all the lab work is negative.

So thank you all again for your good thoughts, purrs and prayers! My humans and I really, really appreciate them. You are all such wonderful friends!

Oh DH I am so glad that you are feeling better ! It's so sad when a cat doesn't feel well because they can't talk ! My little cat family is OK everybody in good health even old Lisa who sometimes causes me troubles . Very soon you have to share that beautiful quilt with a little baby brother but you will see you will enjoy it just like Arthur does with Rosie ! I could watch them the whole day, lol !

Dragon heart you look very regal on your gizzy quilt. I hope your tummy is real better soon and no more red poohs. Sorry you have teeth troubles too. Every time I go to the cattery, the vet nurses give me a dental inspection - yuchh!!

That is such good news about getting a little brother. I am sure he will love living with you.

You're gizzy quilt is lovely. I have been trying to talk Bean into buying me one.

I thought maybe it might be your anal sacs too, especially as you said your poopies were soft. I find very good article on this at:

Baby at Pikapet have same thing going on. Might want to check out.

It is so good to hear that you are feeling better.Maybe the problem is where your Mom suspects.
That is a pretty Holiday Gizzy. Very bright & cheery. That MUST be
some strong catnip to see you going at it like that!

Dragonheart we are just pleased that you are not feeling bad or sickly. That is always so depressing to be feeling blah and just sleeping the day away. we hope they tests show something minor or nothing :-)

Good luck with the vet...I like your new quilt. You look very distinguished on it. One came in the mail from the Braille association as a gift for donations and Calista cat has fallen in love with it.

Ramses said...

It seems this trip to the vet thing is catching... But I must say I love your quilt and 'nip ravioli! :) I think I'll have to get Mummy making us stuff for Kissmouse soon... Though she needs to sort out our Halloween costumes first! ;)

The Furry Kids said...

Do I see you bunnykicking that 'nip ravioli? You are so cute, DH. And your gizzy quilt is lovely.

I'm glad that you're feeling better. Momma didn't know kitties had anal gland issues, too. Shadow, the dawg who came before, had anal gland issues and Momma says it's definitely a stinky issue.

Happy Tuesday!

we is glad you is feeling some better. the medicines might also be making your poops soft and stinkier than usual. we hopes that you feel all way better soon!

LZ said...

Apparently I'm having "sympathetic pains" for you as I have loose stinky poo right now. I think its because of the antibiotic and the roofers. Glad you're feeling better! I love the back of your quilt, its so cute!!

Wow Dragonheart what a beautiful picture of you on your Gizzy Quilt posing. Have you ever thought of modelling? I'm sure Daisy would teach you how. I don't model well because everytime my Mum brings out the flashy box I seem to plop on my back and show my tummy : )

I'm glad you are feeling a bit better, I hope your test results show nothing is wrong.

Dragonheart, I am so happy to hear you are doing better, and things seem to be returning to normal. Lucky scoots sometimes too, so she has to get her sacs cleaned out. She doesn't like it, but, what can you do?
I am happy that you finally got a nip that makes you happy. You look like you are having a lot of fun with it, and with your new Holiday Quilt. You look very handsome posing. Some of us just have it, don't we?

You look great on your quilt, D!

Your doctor should be able to take care of the anal sack problem and help you feel better.

DH, you are as handsome as the beautiful Gizzy quilt you are posing on! We're sorry to hear you have not been feeling the best, but we're glad you are doing better.

DH, so glad to hear that you are doing better and that is one lovely quilt!!!

Lovely quilt and nip ravioli! Lots of fun!

Glad the meds are helping you. When Punkin scoots her hiney across the rug, it is because her anal glands are full and need emptying. She has this done every 6 months or so. She feels much better afterwards.

Bless & Tucker don't have this issue, it happens to just some cats sometimes. Hopefully, that is all you need to have taken care of. Quick & simple.

D :)

Well, Dragonheart, I am glad to read that you are feeling better. You obviously have a very good vet.

Your Gizzy Quilt is beautiful and makes a lovely background for your pretty colours.

Hi there. We're catching up with our friends, and reading about your recent "discomforts." Glad that you're starting to feel better. Hope things continue to improve.

Andree said...

Great news. It could be those nasty sacs. We've had problems with them in the past. The vet wanted to train me to express them, and I said "oh that's OK, no thanks. Your job." But my Amelia can do that icky stuff (always have kids that do icky stuff).

The last photo of you on your quilt is awesome! What a poser (not poser, but poser!) you are!

I already visited you yesterday but I had problem to post my comment. I don't know why!
I'm very glad you are going better!
