Whenever a human lap isn't available to curl up in, try to find a nice, warm sunny spot to lie in. Lying on a soft surface is also encouraged, whether it is a Gizzy quilt, a fleece pad, or other nice, soft object. After all, all items in the house belong to the cat with the points, regardless of what any other cat in the house might claim.

I hardly remember what a sunny spot is....it has been that yucky and dark here. I love this rule though and you look like you are really enjoying your sunbeam.
We didn't know about the rule, though Lyra likes chins and chest better then laps at the moment and Caesar prefers uncomfortable spots. Mamma gives us plenty of snuggly places to curl up in but we'd rather hang out on the couch arm where we can see everything 'cause we be too tiny.

Cushy, cozy, soft, fluffy, and snuggly. That's what we prefer too! So we think that rule should apply to Gray kitties too.
