Birdies!! It looked beautiful.I can still remember when my white Persian jumped over the balcony just to have a closer look at one. He left 8 lives after that with a limp and a chipped tooth falling down from my 3-storey high office.
I was right! You two just had the looks of a birdwatcher. Wanted to thank Merlin for the fantastic job he did on the set of CCSI. Even though he is a young kitty he kept right up with the older cats and knew all of his lines. What a great job!
We love watching the birdies too! Mitzi brings them home for MB & MM. She always give it to them and they let it fly out of the window again. That's a bit ungrateful don't you think?
I used to have a Maine Coone that would chirp at the birdies, I miss that precious sound. None of mine will do it now. They just watch. Sometimes one's mouth might tremble a bit but no chitter!

Oh - we love to chitter at those things. They come into our back yard and taunt up. They know we can't get to them and will just sit outside looking at us.

Freyja, Bastet and Maia love to look and meow at birdies outside too! We just have seagulls over here. :)

Dragonheart, I just meow at them, like Merlin does. Pierro chitters. We have a bloo bird nestie here and he watches them all day.
