13 Things We Don't Like to Hear
- Merlin, NO! (when Merlin is doing anything he's not supposed to)
- Merlin, GET DOWN! (when Merlin is up on the table, or the treadmill, or other places he shouldn't be)
- Merlin, Stop That! (again, when Merlin is doing anything he's not supposed to)
- OUT! Get out, Boys! (when we're in the bathroom or the Bowflex/Comic book room, when our humans are going to close the door)
- It's too early for crunchies (we only get crunchies at bedtime)
- We're all out of fishy treats (Dragonheart likes to have dried fish cubes crushed and sprinkled over his stinky goodness)
- Dragonheart, is your brother being a bad influence? (when Dragonheart, normally the "good boy," does something naughty, like Merlin would do)
- Get off the laptop! (gee, we're just trying to blog and visit our friends)
- You're supposed to be an obligate carnivore! (when Merlin tries to eat people food, like animal crackers, cheese, etc.)
- Merlin, we're trying to eat. Leave us alone. (when Merlin climbs all over our humans when they are trying to eat)
- It's human alone time (we aren't sure why humans need time alone apart from us)
- Not right now, Merlin (when Merlin tries to climb all over our dad, and cuddle on his chest, when our dad is trying to do something)
- Bath time (no explanation needed!)

Oh I do not mind bath time at all. I would think your bath would go really quick not having any fur to wash and rinse out.

we agree with #8. daddy says that alot but mommy tries to wait till we are done soaking up its warmth. hey, and the more cold it is getting outside the more we WILL be occupying the laptops for our naps.

we hate those words too. especially No. Merlin, we just love that you get Dragonheart to "explore" outside his normal goodness. Bendrix especially thinks it is wonderful.

First, animal crackers are FOR animals, right? Second, you have a comic book room ... is this a room for storing all the comic books, or is it a special room for reading comic books so you don't walk on them or chew them? Dad used to collect comics, now he just has boxes under the stairs that I sometimes nap on.

We pretend to be listening when we hear the No word or the Get Down or Stop That words....and then go right back and do it again! Hey...we're cats...it's what we DO!!
