Cats on Tuesday: Tummy Tuesday

Thanks to everyone who asked about our humans' marathon. They didn't do as well as they hoped, but they get to try again in two weeks in Dublin! They didn't have a great training cycle: our dad injured his calf half-way through training, so had to take a lot of time off while it healed, and our mom has been trying to get her thyroid sorted out (she's hypothyroid, so her thyroid function is low, and they've been trying to figure out the right amount of thyroid hormone for her to take). But even though they didn't do as well as they hoped, they are happy to just be able to run marathons. So thank you for all your purrs and good luck wishes!

You boys have great tummies, probably from all your rassling!

Mom's nephew does marathons and we know how hard he trains. We think you're winners just for participating and you get Bonus Points for finishing! It is very hard on a body, Mom's nephew trashed his knee and probably can't do any more marathons - and he's only 27.

You guys have cute tummies! We hope your mom and dad are resting up from Sunday. We think they probably need lots of sphynxy cuddles to help them not be so sore.

I admire your humans to even complete a marathon. I have hypothyroidism too; sorting out the right amount of hormone isn't easy.
You both have nice tummies by the way! My kitty girls liked to see them. :)

Look at those lean tummies. You and Merlin are all muscle!

I'm sure your humans will do better at the next marathon :-)

Jans Funny Farm said...

They did their best and that is what counts. Man humans -- are you listening, Jan -- never even enter a marathon.

Merlin! Your tummie looks like you haz a mini 6 pack happening there ;)

I don;t think peoplez enter marathons to win, I think it is a very good achievement just to finish, and that is all that counts :))
