I think keeping one ear out is a great idea, so that no one can get by with sneaking up on you. Hopefully no one does, though, and you can have a nice and quiet snooze! Purrs!
Wow, we never thought of one ear out! We are usually entirely unner the blankies or entirely out. Its weird, bein partly out seems ta pull us the rest of the way out!

You have to listen out (while you are asleep) so you can find out what everyone is up to.

Maybe Veikko needs to learn this. He sleeps next to Äiti under the covers and quite often Pekka lies on top of him. Double-decker kitties.

That's a pretty good strategy. Unless it's extra cold. Then you'd need to keep both ears warm.
