It was on February 4th, 2016, that we received the news that I had large cell lymphoma, the more aggressive form of lymphoma. At the time, we never imagined that I would still be here, 13 months later, enjoying life and meeting my new baby sister.
I'm still doing well. I'm starting to slow down a bit, whether from the cancer, the steroids, or the weight gain due to the steroids, but the steroids are keeping me alive, so we aren't about to stop them at this point. I'm back to having some mucus or blood in my stool a couple of times a week, but that's all. It doesn't seem to bug me, although my dad gets a bit annoyed when I wipe my bum on the floor.
Thank you all for your purrs, prayers, positive thoughts, and kindness. Your support means so much to me. However much longer I have, I am just treasuring every moment with my family.

Dad is not really annoyed - everyone is so grateful you are here after all! Well done, Sir Merlin - you are a Mighty Wizard indeed and we have paws crossed all will continue to be well with you for a very long while to come. Miraculous, and wonderful.
Merlin, we too are delighted to be celebrating this wonderful milestone. When you returned to blogging last year, we were happy to rediscover such good friends but sad at the thought of losing you so soon. It has been a joy to follow all your adventures since then, and we are so happy that you are still with us. Chloe is a very lucky girl to have the advice of such a wise and magical big brother.
