Now, however, they've brought this large, noisy machine into the house. They call it a "treadmill". It makes a lot of noise, and has a floor that moves! My silly humans get on it and start running. But they're going nowhere! Humans are very odd!

This "treadmill" smells very odd. I still can't figure out why my humans want to run in place, but go nowhere. They say they're training for something called a "marathon" and when winter comes, and there's lots of ice, it's too dangerous to run outside.
My humans don't want me playing with them when they're on the "treadmill". That's just silly. Do your humans have any large, noisy machines like this?

Oh yes~ We gots one of those. The Lady walks on it, so I call it the moving sidewalk. It is very noisy and I don't like it at all.
OH MY GUDNESS, yoo have one of thowse lowd, noisey, pointless mashenes that takes yoo nowhare too!?! We had one when we lived with my grandma and grandpa rite owt of collej. Its grate to lye on and sunbathe...but whats up with the silly walking no whare. CrAzY peeple!

Hi Dragonheart you're the first dog person I've visited. I know what you mean about peeps. My lady peep is also training for a mary-thong, except she doesn't have a treadmill. Nope, silly peep goes outside in Edmonton Alberta Canada in the middle of winter and runs and runs and runs. Crazee. There's nuthin chasin her. Come visit when you get a chance.
Oh it looks like the treadmill we just got! I wonder if we live in the same house and just haven't met yet?
My Meowm says she has been on one of these.....but it has been awhile and she needs to get back to it. But we don't have one at home.
Oh, you are lucky! We have one of those at our place and they are great fun!
