Egyptian Museum

The other day, my humans visited the Staatliches Museum Ägyptischer Kunst (Museum of Egyptian Art) here in Munich. You can read about their visit, and see the photos they took here.

The Egyptians were very smart people; they worshipped cats as gods and goddesses. I know that our humans worship us, but not to the same degree that the Egyptians worshipped cats.

My humans brought back a necklace of the cat goddess Bastet. Bastet was worshipped as the goddess of love and joy. Here I am modelling this necklace. I didn't wear it for long - only long enough to have my picture taken, while I was safe in my mom's lap. I think it is a lovely necklace, and when mom was wearing it, I kept trying to play with it.

We love the expression on your face in both of the photos. That necklace suits you well, at least for photos.
