Frootbat Friday

In this photo, I'm tucked under my fleece blanket on my mom's lap. It's one of my favourite places to curl up.

In a week, we celebrate Good Friday. Here in Bayern (Bavaria) the population is largely Catholic, and my two humans are Catholic as well. They have been celebrating Lent (the forty days before Easter) since Ash Wednesday in February.

For Lent this year, every time that my humans have gone grocery shopping, they have picked up a food item for the human food banks and they have picked up a package or box of cat food for the local animal shelters and cat rescue organizations.

Five Reasons Why I Blog:
  1. I like to educate people about the Sphynx breed.

  2. I like having a record of my adventures.

  3. I have made many good friends through blogging, and I hope to make more.

  4. It's a way to share my experiences and photos with all of my humans' friends and family back home in Canada, and in other locations around the world.

  5. Helping me blog and helping me visit my friends provides my mom with a nice study break when she needs one (she's working on a Masters degree in physiotherapy).

that is a terrifical idea to send food to shelters. My mom likes to do that too.. and she also buys kittymeatglop for the humanbeen food bank, becuase here there are families that need kitty food too. It is fun to help and it makes me happy knowing that there are kitties enjoying good food.

I biggified your picture and you are sooo very very pretty and cute for a kitten boy.
I like sphynx kitties very much and I am glad you are here.

You must be the snuggliest little cat. Tell me, do you purr a lot? I have a theory that snuggly cats purr a lot.

That's a great thing that your parents are doing! Purrs for them! You have done a very good job of educating me on your breed. It is very interesting and you are a very good looking kitty! On a different subject - I looked at my site meter today and saw a dot in Germany. I knew it was you! How cool is that! Another reason I like to blog!

Hi Dragonheart!

I think it's lovely that you are celebrating the Easter holidays by donating food for humans and cats. That's a wonderful idea.

I, too, am sitting on the woman's lap becuase it's darned cold here today.

Cheers,
pearl

Hi DH, I see I've been tagged. I'm very excited about this but I have been told I have to wait till Monday. The girl human says she hasn't got time to help me as we've got people staying with us (I hope they're friendly). I promise I will do it Monday. Have a great weekend. FAZ
