(Click either photo to view a larger image)It is important for Mancats to always be properly groomed. Although I get weekly baths, I still groom myself several times a day. My tongue, however, can't keep up with the oil my skin secretes, and since I have no fur for the oil to work itself through, the oil builds up on my skin. This necessitates weekly baths to keep me healthy and clean.

It must be so nice to have a bath Dragonheart. I know my kitties really despise it, because I have to spend about 3 hours afterward drying and brushing them, and they just want to hide under the bed and hiss at me! I wonder if I clipped them nice and short if they would like it more? Do you like your baths or just put up with them because you love your people? You are certainly looking handsome this morning!

Yes it is very important for a mancat to keep himself clean. I am always washing, in fact I have washed the fur on my tummy clean away. Eric isn't quite so fussy and I have to keep him clean and smelling sweet too.

Between your grooming and your baths, you always look amazing. It is wonderful your beans take the time and effort to make sure you are well cared for and healthy. You are a very brave ManCat to take a bath. I'm not sure I'd ever be that brave. I'm pretty sure Bendrix would misbehave if a bath was attempted....
