Photo Hunt: Time

PSHunt

Time

When our humans were in Egypt, they visited Alexandria, where they saw this unique sundial (called an analemmatic disk) in front of the new Library of Alexandria. If you click on the second photo to make it larger, you should be able to read the instructions for this unique method of telling time!

That sure is a unique clock. I'm not sure I know how to read it even with the instruction. :)

"Analemmatic Disk"..say that 10 times real fast! That's really cool, though, and I'll bet the ancients had no problem using it, either! They were a lot more sophisticated than we sometimes give them credit for being!
