Sunday Selfies: Cone of Shame

This week for Sunday Selfies with the Kitties Blue, we have a sad selfie of Devi wearing the cone of shame.  Poor Devi has to wear it for two weeks until her stitches from her skin biopsies dissolve.

Devi
Thanks again for all your purrs, prayers, and positive thoughts.  We may not get around to visiting our friends much over the next two weeks, as it is both crunch-time for our mom with regards to her graduate program (she needs to have everything finished by August 19th), and because both our mom and our dad need to get the house ready for painting, cleaning, and staging starting August 22nd, before putting it on the market on August 30th in preparation of our big move in the Fall.

I know it must not be fun to wear, Devi, but you sure make that cone look good! Purring and praying for you, Merlin, and Dragonheart! Also sending lots of good thoughts to your mom and dad, as it sure sounds like they have their hands full.

I know kitties hate the cone of shame, but you really do look adorable in yours.

It looks like your Mom and Dad are going to have their hands full for a while Devi. We hope you will soon be allowed to take off your cone so you can look round more easily but be very careful that you don't get taped up in a box before they move.

Devi darling, we are so sorry you must be confined in such a way. We are so thankful none of us has ever had to wear a cone. At least that cone looks a bit flexible. We'll keep you in our purrs and prayers that you heal super fast and get out of that thing. Wow, things sure sound busy for all of you with lots of exciting changes. Keep us posted when you can. Thanks for hopping. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

I had to wear a cone one time, Devi. It wasn't much fun so I feel for you. That's a nice selfie, though. Good luck to your mom and dad with all the house stuff.

So much going on! Here's hoping you can find time to rest, relax and recharge. And I'm hoping those biopsy results bring you good news!

There is so much going on in your lives that we hope Devi's biopsies come back as something that can be taken care of with meds, Mom does OK with her school and you get everything ready with the house. Paws crossed and POTP!!!
