Cheysuli's Contest

Cheysuli is holding a contest.  She would like people to list three resolutions for her in the upcoming year.  These are my suggestions.

1. Every day, Chey should click on "The Animal Rescue Site" (which helps provide food for shelter animals) and on the "Race For Pets in Need" (which helps the Humane Society of the United States' Rural Area Veterinary Services program). These are both very good causes, and it only takes a moment of time to help! As a bonus, Chey could provide links to these sites from her site, demonstrating that she supports these causes.


2. Chey should continue to participate in Meezer Monday and Frootbat Friday, so that she remains in the public eye, an important consideration when running for office. Her photos on these days should be flattering, so that the public has a positive image of her.
   


3. Chey should hire a Personal Trainer to ensure that her diet and exercise regime are adequate for her needs. As she is running for office, Chey should maintain her sleek, svelte and regal Siamese appearance.

My first Christmas: Photos and Video

Here's the Christmas tree with all the presents under it. Unfortunately, not all the gifts were for me. A bunch of them were for my mom and dad.

Here are some photos of me in my Christmas sweater (my mom crocheted it for me).


For a while, I was more interested in watching the birds outside than in opening presents and playing with ribbon and toys.


I enjoyed helping mom and dad unwrap their presents.


Here I am with two of my presents. One of them is a rustle tunnel that makes noise when I walk through it. The other is a ball track that is lots of fun!

Cats on Tuesday and Toesday

Here's a shot of me cleaning myself, that gives you a good view of one of my back paws, and my paw pads.

In the close-up below, you can really see that Sphynx paw pads are thicker than those in other breeds.  Some people say this gives us the appearance of walking on "air cushions".

Christmas Eve Blog Blast for Peace

My human dad is an army officer in the Canadian Forces. So my wish for peace this Christmas is for all the Canadian Forces personnel stationed overseas, and all the other military personnel deployed on missions around the globe, to come home safely to their families. We hope that they, and their families, have a peaceful Christmas and that they will be reunited soon.

Streaky?

I've destroyed three toys in the time that I've been here. They are all wand toys. For some reason, this has called my mom to call me "Crazy Kitty" or "Super Kitty" (especially after I pull the wand toy right out of her hand!) and has caused my dad to call me "Streaky".

I can't help it if I'm a strong kitten! I think they need to start building these things better! They should make wand toys more sturdy! My mom managed to put two of the wand toys back together, so I can still play with them, but I hope I receive some new ones for Christmas.

Frootbat Friday

Here I am, sitting in the sun on mom's desk, peeking my head up over the edge of her laptop.  I think this photo shows off my Frootbat ears rather nicely:

I like sitting in the sun.  It's nice and warm.  That's our Garten (German for yard) behind me.

Helping Mom

I was helping Mom wrap the Christmas presents yesterday. For some reason, she didn't appreciate my help. I really liked playing with the ribbon, but mom kept taking it away from me. But ribbon exists only to be played with! Humans can be so silly at times. Mom says that I'll have lots of ribbon to play with on Christmas morning. But I want to play with it now! Oh well, I guess I can wait.
