Cats on Tuesday: Tuxie Toesday

Cats on Tuesday Here are a couple of photos of me, curled up on my humans' bed (they have given up on "making" it, since I like to burrow underneath the covers and mess everything up anyway.) I'm curled up on top of one comforter and the sheets, but under their quilt from Newfoundland. In these photos, you have a good view of my hind paws - you can see how they are bicoloured, both pink and dark brown/black.

Dragonheart under the covers

Halloween TreatHootin' Anni awarded me a treat for Hallowe'en. :) I'd like to pass it on to the following cats:
Update on me: My new chicken-free food arrives today, so we'll see how I do with it. I'll be heading back to the vet anyhow, because I continue to have blood on my bum after I use the litterbox, and on the surface of my stools. This morning was particularly bad, with lots of blood, so my mom is very worried, which is why I'll be going to the vet tonight. I'm still behaving normally though - I'm as active as usual, eating normally, and playing lots! So, since I'm not acting sick, both the vet and my mom think it's likely the food I'm eating that's causing my problems. Clearly the first prescription food the vet gave me hasn't worked, so we'll try something else, that's chicken-free. We bought a sample pack that contains duck, turkey, and salmon, so we'll see if one of those agrees with me better!

Thanks again for all your suggestions, purrs, and prayers. I can't tell you how much my humans and I appreciate your friendship and support.

Oh my sweetest brother I am so worried about you:)) I rushed over early to read any update. Mommy got me new cat food too...all natural stuff with no bad things in it or by~products. Oh bummer, sometimes it is really tough for us cats!
I hope your trip to the vet will go well and they are gentle with you.
You are in my deepest heartstring thoughts:)

Oh DH you look soooo cute on the second picture ! I just wish I could plant a kiss on your head !

Sorry to hear that you still have some troubles. I hope the vet will find out what happens to you. But the fact that you behave normal and don't seem to be sick is already a good sign. Sometimes it also happens that little veins explode through the effort.

You are such a beautiful cat! We hope you aren't too cold, we find the weather here is much colder in winter than it was in Indiana. We think it is because they build their houses with stone and tile, the cold just stays inside. We like to hide under the covers too (and we have fur). Sleeping near the radiator helps.

We are so happy to have found you. You are the only expat cat we know!

Opus and Roscoe

Oah Dragonheart, Oah poor dear,
I am so worry about you!!!!!
What is wrong with your digestive system~! Oah dear, after seeing vet, please rest more.
I am not so sure if there is any advise of food I could give, but, michico says, maybe you could try sea bass, it a kind of fish. It is always useful in my country to heal the internal organs. Certainly you could ask the doctor first. It's only a suggestion.

Oah, I wish you recover soon~!!!!

Hey Dragonheart,
It's still me, michico again, I find a resource of Japanese website page to say sea bass's good feature and transfer to English by on-line dictionary for you, you can consider about that.
The originally webpage: http://www.b-gong.net/food/see-a072.html
----------
After translate:
"The nourishment of the sea bass (a sea bass)

I take a lot of fat-solubility vitamin in a sea bass (a sea bass) for a white and include vitamin A, B1, D, iron content, potassium, DHA, EPA in richness.

I act on a mucous membrane of eyes and the skin, and the vitamin A is effective in improvement and the dermatopathia prevention of the asthenopia and, by improvement of the immunity power, can expect an effect for the cold prevention.

The vitamin D is the vitamins which are helpful for cancellation of the irritation, cancellation of the stress not only I do a bone and a tooth in vitamins making it easy to absorb calcium soundly.

Furthermore, because I include the iron content to lead to the anemia prevention, it is easy to be it for osteoporosis, and consumption of the calcium is a cooking ingredient wanting a remarkable woman to eat by all means.

But because it does not include vitamin C, I eat with vegetables in a lemon and summer to take in iron content effectively, and it is important to balance."

You can consider and ask about doctor's suggestion :)

Hope you recover soon~!

You do look snuggly in your pictures, particularly the second one.
We hope your V E T visit goes well. The fact that the blood is fresh and red and not old and dark is a good sign. Maybe you have a weak vein (possibly varicose) that is rupturing.

That's an interesting treat. Don't eat it though. Your bum is having enough problems.

Good luck with the new foods!

We don't have experience with the problem with the blood, but we do know that food allergies can cause all kinds of different reactions. We had a problem with itchy skin, and our friend Jade can't eat anything with any grains at all or she has severe digestive problems. We sure hope the change of food will take care of it for you. We're purrrrring you back to purrfect health!

Dear Dragonheart, We hope the new foods will make your tummy better. I had this same trouble about two months ago... remember? my tummy did not like the foods so we had to go with one of the other prescription brands. It is really humiliating to have to go to the vet and they are fussing over our poops.

Thank you for this awardie. I am soo very proud to have this. Caesar is sleeping but when he wakes up I will tell him the good news!

These are adorrrrable pictures and we are going to send our favorite to Blizzie at kollig so she will say "awwwww how cute that Dragonheart is"

happy Day and good luck with the new foods. Salmon sounds very yummy!

Poor Dragonheart! I am glad you are at least feeling OK. My son (human son)had the same problem as an infant and it turned out to be a milk allergy. Once the cow's milk was gone, he was fine.
