Dragonheart: I really like grooming Merlin, especially his ears! I'm 100% back to normal after my health scare a week and a half ago, and it's great having a little brother to curl up with and play with!
Merlin: Dragonheart is lots of fun to curl up with and play with. He's a great wrestler! He's a little too obsessed with grooming me, though, especially my ears. I guess he thinks I don't do a good enough job grooming myself, and our humans don't do a good job bathing me and cleaning my ears.
In regards to our differences post that we made on Thursday, most of the differences are due to personality, and not due to age. Merlin squirms a lot more than Dragonheart did at Merlin's age. Right from the start, Dragonheart never squirmed when being bathed, having his nails trimmed, or having his ears cleaned, unless it started taking too long. He's always been a "good boy" at the vet, sitting quietly and letting the vet do whatever is necessary (except when having his temperature taken - he's squirmed at that). Merlin, on the other hand, is always squirming. Trimming his claws, cleaning his ears, and giving him a bath is a lot more challenging, because he won't stay still and is always moving!
As for the fact that we've become such good friends so quickly, part of it is due to the fact that we are Sphynx. Sphynx are very friendly, social cats, and we love attention! Generally, Sphynx prefer human companionship - we love being around people and meeting new people. When it is time to relax, our favourite place to curl up is in a human lap. When a human isn't available, however, another Sphynx is the next best thing! We are both very friendly cats, so we've become fast friends and inseparable.

You are two superduper mancats! What preshus pickshures of you. And it is sooooo wunnerful to have a bruther. I love Marilyn and Dorydoo, but I love Brainball the absolute bestest. We rassle and cuddle and play -- and he likes to groom me, too!

They really are very cute together ! It's just like Arthur and Rosie. Arthur being a male is much more opener for cat relationships then the females, they are honnestly awful between themselves ! Only Kim never hisses or does anything agressif not with cats and not with humans.

How cute you are snuggled in your bed together. It's nice to have a brother to wash your ears. We do that for each other, but Eric sometimes gets carried away and holds me down. Sometimes I think he will wash them right off.
About the tap water, we have soft water in SW England and it is good to drink.

You'z kinda like furless Aby's we'z very fond of human attention and fuss, but when we can't get that or just don't feel like it another Aby makes the bestest snuggle buddy! Oh and Merlin I'z totally understand what it's like to have your ears obsessively cleaned... ;) Has he tried cleaning between your toe pads yet? That's even more tortuous to put up with, cause it tickles soooo much! :)

Now that 85% of our snow is gone and we had a week and a half of warm weather, we can expect up to 20cm snow! Winter is back :)

Dragonheart is a wonderful big brother. We had a cornish boykitty named Cubby for a while but he hated us :-( he wanted to be boss of us and he was just a little shrimp and he was mean. We had to give himm away even though mommie loved him.
You and Merlin make a wonderful team and we like that a lot! Even our daddie came over to look at these pictures and he thinks you two are cool guys!

Merlin, kittens have been known to be a bit spotty when it comes to personal hygiene. It takes them awhile to learn to do a thorough job. We think Dragonheart is cleaning your ears and showing he loves you at the same time.

Well, maybe Merlin won't be so squirmy after he gets used to being bathed and clipped. I don't like it, but I don't need to have a bath as often as a Sphynx does.

Sydney water tastes pretty bad. The vet says I have to drink more and the only way SS can entice me to drink is by collecting rainwater because I don't like filtered water either. I am so glad that I am not the only cat who dislikes tap water.
